I’m sure that blogs all over the blogosphere are busy posting about resolutions and reflections about our lives in 2006. So why should you think I would be any different? 🙂 Actually, my post about looking back is over here at WordyGirls. I’d love you pop over and give me your feedback.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
It’s easy to look back over a year and be disappointed with it, isn’t it?
Congratulations on your sale!
I hope 2007 is a GREAT year for you and that you’re happy with it when you look back at it this time next year. 🙂
I like your question for 2006…I’ve been driving around, cleaning the place, etc. thinking about this past year’s best and worst, calculating the cups of coffee I drank 🙂 etc.
My greatest and least satisfying writing moments are:
Satisfying: Going to the open house for grad school for the MFA Creative Writing Program I want to get into, then making the personal changes necessary to come up with a good application, reworking stories, etc.
Disappointments: Procrastinating on writing and creating a good workplace.
However, I was up til 3am last night, sipping eggnog and watching the fireworks and FINISHED the feared boxes/piles of paper. My place is open and clean, and now I know where to find my writing, my things!
Happy New Year to you!
Laura
