Dear Flyboy,
While I know you think you are doing a good of hiding what you are really feeling I think someone is going to figure you out pretty soon. Boy are you going to ticked when you find out who it is.
Dear Edna,
Arrested? Really? You ARE tough,
Dear Flyboy’s dad,
I don’t know if are ballsy or just plain dumb. For Flyboy’s sake, I hope it’s the second one.
Dear Girl,
Where ARE you? Or did you decide I didn’t really need you after all?
Signed,
Author relying on index cards in order to tell this story
I was JUST thinking about needing a new set of index cards. That and Donald Maass’ workbook; I’m going to try & juggle them both to do some plotting.
I know it’s when the stuff isn’t flowing, but I do love seeing your letters. And re Flyboy’s Dad–possibly BOTH? LOL!
I need to see which one of his books it is that I have. Good luck on the juggling.
I miss doing the character lettes. It’s a struggle because I don’t want to give away the plot and yet I think they are a lot of fun. I’m not particulary struggling right now (okay, the synopsis is kicking my butt) but then I’m not particularly trying today either. This weekend has been all about brain rest because the last week’s teaching was such a drain.
Let me know when they write back =)
Have fun!
Enjoy this part of your process =)
Re: Let me know when they write back =)
Oh you know they will write back.
They always do. LOL
These are such interesting little peeks into your process and your characters.
It’s a fun way for me to poke around and see what seems to stick.
