Huzzah! I was a wee bit sad it wasn’t on the list of winners, but Notable Books is SPECTACULAR!
Thanks, Kelly. I wasn’t expecting it to be on anything but I knew it was on the discussion list for Notables. And I’m very happy about being on this list. I hope it will mean more exposure for the book. Sometimes that’s hard with a fall release so hopefully this will help. I don’t really know much about what it means to the life of the book but it sure is a swell feeling.
FWIW — it’s back to being faced on the “new releases” wall at my local B&N, with a nice amount of copies there. It had gone onto the regular shelf for a while, but it’s been back for 2 weeks. I hope that means it’s developing “legs”.
Ooh…that’s nice to hear. Although I love my indies, B&N has been very much behind me with this book. I had the launch at an indie store but since then all my signings have been at B&N.
