Today’s stop on 31 Blogs (you might not know) is The Idea Garage Sale , the virtual home of author Peni Griffin. I love Peni’s mind, the way it tunnels through things the rest of us might not notice and comes out the other side with a story, such as her latest book, 11,000 Years Lost which is in the Pleistocene age. Cool, huh?
Peni believes ideas are all around us, we just need to become more aware of them. She believes this so much that she is giving ideas away to all comers. Go on now, pick one up for yourself.
A couple of my favorite posts are Coolest Thing I Learned All Year and Projects.
Since Peni is a new blogger I hope some of you will head on over to say hello.
Ha ha ha ~ I love the idea of cave drawings as graffiti. And this was such a great reminder:
“Oh, I wish I had time,” people say; not realizing that the problem is not time but energy and desire. You put your energy where your desire is.”
She does “tunnel through things the rest of us might not notice,” doesn’t she? I like that–and her take-aways!
Peni’s mind is just so fascinating to me. She has a photographic memory so conversations with her are peppered with some of the most wonderful things.
OMG, Susan, who did I bump? I didn’t even start the blog till after you started the “31 Blogs” list, and you’d hardly have started if you didn’t have 31 blogs in mind. I figured I’d missed that boat. I wish I’d had more posts for you to pick favorites from.
Now I have to go make my Tuesday post BRILLIANT. Or at least not completely inane.
Peni
Oh Peni, you didn’t bump anyone because I wasn’t organized enough to plan it out ahead of time. That WAS my original idea but I left it to the last minute.
I have gotten really lax about visiting my LJ friends page lately. Not sure why. But this is a really cool idea you have going. You are so good at shining the spotlight on other people.
I think we all go through times of not having the energy (physically or emotionally) to catch up on other blogs. Thanks for the kind words.
