I picked up this wonderful muse at a little shop in Pacific Grove called Tessuti Zoo. I’m trying to find the perfect name for her. Suggestions, anyone? , originally uploaded by susanwrites.
I decided my new artsy self needed a new muse. I picked up this wonderful doll at a little shop in Pacific Grove called Tessuti Zoo. I’m trying to find the perfect name for her.
OMG, she looks like a Matilda to me, but she is charming no matter what you call her!
Isn’t she just adorable! I love her patent leather shoes. Matilda is good. My writing muse is Maude so Maude and Matilda might work. 🙂
I don’t have a name, but she sure made me smile.
She made me smile too. That’s why I knew she had to come home with me.
She’s cute! Flora because she likes flowers? Zazu? Daisy?
Ooh, Zazu is fun. Thanks!
I’m thinking Myrtle.
Oh, Myrtle is another good one. My writing muse is Maude so Maude and Myrtle would work nicely too. Thanks!
Hahaha on Laura.
Oh, she’s wonderful! How about Clementine?
Ooh, Clementine is fun. Thanks!
I stink at names — but yay for finding a way to celebrate your new artsy side:>) Lots of good suggestions so far. Matilda kinda resonated with me for some reason, but the others are cute, too!
Thanks, Laura. My art muse is much larger than my writing muse and I think that’s because my art one is a little bit bossy, which I need due to my lack of confidence in the art department.
Thanks, Peni! I like Mildred.
Ooh, I’d snatch her up in an instant. Good choice, Susan.
Names? She’s dressed like a ladylike muse, right down to her red lipstick. Madame Mitzie? Artesia? Blossom?
Re: cute muse
Thanks, Donna. I think you would like this little store. Madame….I like thinking of her as a Madame. Ah, the choices.
Tuti Tessuti? 🙂
I swear, she looks like a “Susie” to me, which you may HATE! But it just popped into my head. Don’t let Cassie think she’s a toy. 🙂
Hahaha! I don’t think I could have a muse with the same name as mine, or that close to it. Cassie CANNOT play with her. You would die if you knew how much I paid for her.
I love that word Tessuti (which in my ignorance i am pronouncing Tess-oo-ty) so I think that would be an excellent name for her.
I have no idea how to pronounce it myself so your guess is as good as mine! Thanks!
For some reason she looks like a Betsy to me!
