Okay, I am working on a work-for-hire thing and I have one spot to fill. I am looking for some suggestions of things where an adult would be too big but a kid would be the right size/age. I was thinking of something being dropped and the adult hand being too big and the kid's hand being just the right size but I'm drawing a blank.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
hmm…I’m not sure if these work for your purposes, but–playground equipment like swings, tunnels, and some slides is (are?) often sized for kids only.
What about getting something out from behind the couch? (My sister’s is really heavy, so if something ends up back there we just pull it out far enough for the kids to get whatever it is.)
Crawling into kitchen cabinets? Or the dryer?
The something behind the couch is good. Thank you!
Chimney Sweeps? Do they even have those anymore? Or what about something like a secret shopper to a kids establishment? Or what about reaching in to unclog balls that get stuck in the skee-ball machine at Chuck E Cheese? I am sooo stretching here.
Yes, the reaching up the pipelike thing! Thank you. Stretching appreciated.
Hmmm…reaching into the jellybean jar? Playing hide-and-go seek behind the couch? Swinging on the monkey bars? Sitting on little kid chairs?
Hmmm…I’ll keep thinking. Tough! Good luck.
Jellybean jar. That’s good! She can get the last ones. 🙂
Ooh good! So maybe I wasn’t totally useless today after all! 🙂 Hehe
These days kids are frequently more likely to know how to operate things like computers, video equipment, etc, than their adult counterparts.
Oh, very good point! Thank you. That can take me down an entirely different path.
Oh, yeah, the remote control!
Hand through a fence maybe.
The ball pit/jungle gym inside of restaurants or theme parks.
Under a bed, a car.
Through a hole in or under a fence. Maybe a break in tree branches or bushes.
Abandoned, flipped over car.
Storage space with stacked furniture or boxes.
Could be weight dependent, like ice or cardboard or glass, ie; walking across.
Hand through the fence. Yes, that’s the small thing I was thinking about it. But I like the weight dependent thing too. Thanks so much!
Happy I could help!
I suppose being able to crawl underneath large machinery like weaving machines would be completely innapropriate- but, unfortunately, true.
