Today I’m thank for my wonderful husband.
Not only does he do all the cooking around the house, which means he also does all the grocery shopping, but he drives me all over the place (not just the South Bay) looking at things on craigslist. When we buy something, no matter how big, he always manages to fit it into our four-runner. He does all the moving and lifting and carrying and lets me supervise. He never complains, even when we drive a couple of hours for something we don’t buy.
Thank you, my dear.
Where did you find him or does he have a brother?
Honestly I don’t think people say thank you enough these days. I am sure he thinks you are pretty special too.
(Short and sweet from me today)
He has a brother who is not much like him. 🙂
He sounds lovely!
He is indeed!
Sounds like you have someone pretty special. 🙂 I’ll bet he’s a great support for your writing, too. Happy writing today! Cheering for you on Flyboy.
Jeni, he’s a very special guy and yes, a big support for Flyboy. Thanks for the writing cheers. I can use them.
Yay for a good husband and supportive partner! So important for writers :). I especially like the “does all the cooking and grocery shopping” part.
Thanks, Jama and you’re right, that support is so important for us. And doing all the cooking and the grocery shopping – color me lucky! (Did I mention he is a fabulous cook?)
I do the grocery shopping, but my husband does ALL the cleaning and laundry, and he is amazing. In fact, since he has higher standards than I do, it was HE who got the house all ready for my mother coming for six weeks. I have a few things I still need to do, but I seem to have hurt my lower back at just the wrong time and can’t really move too well. Hubby also washes and the dishes and does probably more than half of the cooking. He makes me son’s breakfast and lunches when school is in session.
I have an amazing husband. I need to go tell him again.
