I am thankful that we finally decided on a contractor to rip up the mass of cement and aggregate so I can finally have soil to plant my native garden.
I am thankful that the same contractor is going to install a new paver driveway and courtyard patio and fix a multitude of problems left around here from the previous owners.
I am thankful that the contractor is going to be able to start in one week.
It is highly doubtful that I will be thankful for the entire day and possibly more of solid jackhammering on my first day of my vacation but it will be worth it when it is done.
lol–every time you want to cuss out the construction crew, just re-read your blog post!
I know. That’s why I wrote it … to help me remember it is a means to an end. Sorta like work-for-hire, right? 🙂
So true. I’ve been cussing out the tundra hard enough to heat it up!
I HATE jackhammers. Get out that bottle of excedrin!
It’s going to be bad, isn’t it? sigh. And I don’t really want to leave the house in case something bad happens.
Earplugs?
Yes, that’s what I’m figuring. It’s going to be so worth it though.
